Product Description

Medial & Lateral Heel Wedge Inserts for Bowed Leg and Knock Knee Correction

The alignment of your feet and weight distribution on them can affect other areas of your body, including your ankles, knees, hips, and lower back (sacroiliac joint). These silicone shoe inserts help keep your ankle straight, reducing pressure on your muscles, tendons, and joints to prevent foot, knee, hip, and back pain stemming from foot imbalance.

braceability medial and lateral shoe inserts are perfect for correcting supination and pronation

Raised ¼”, providing a 4-degree medical lift for medial or lateral unloading, these heel wedge insoles are well suited for treating:

  • Genu Varum (bow-leggedness)
  • Genu Valgum (knock-knee)
  • Knee osteoarthritis
  • Inner & outer heel pain
  • Peroneal tendonitis
  • Foot supination & pronation
  • Heel spurs
  • Heel bursitis

How to Correct Bow Legs & Knock Knees in Adults

Believe it or not, bow legs and knock knees do not always require surgery to fix your leg alignment. Both of these conditions can usually be treated naturally, without surgery. Surgery is usually only required in severe cases. When the condition is not severe, certain exercises, knee braces, and heel wedge cushions provide adequate treatment. Before purchasing, consult with a physician if you have any pre-existing knee conditions.

Worn laterally, with the raised portion towards the outside of your legs, our heel wedge inserts can correct supination and counteract bow-leggedness, preventing knee osteoarthritis and harmful ankle sprains caused by inversion.

Worn medially, with the raised portion towards the inside of your legs, our shoe inserts can correct overpronation, counteracting knock-knees and ankle eversion, reducing the effects of knee osteoarthritis and flat feet.

Foot Supination vs. Pronation: What’s the Difference?

Pronation (overpronation) occurs when your arch flattens on your foot strike, causing your ankle to roll inward after landing on the ground. Supination (underpronation) is the exact opposite, referring to the outward rolling of your ankle when you walk or run.

These premium, gel heel wedges correct the position of your heel, relieve pain, and reduce uneven wear on shoes caused by overpronation and excessive supination.

Looking for more support following an ankle sprain caused by excessive supination? Consult with your doctor to see if our walking boot is right for you!

How to Stop Walking on the Outside of Your Foot

  1. Use lateral heel wedges and/or deep heel cups.
  2. Wear proper running shoes designed for supinators.
  3. Replace your shoes regularly.
  4. Stretch out tight tendons.
  5. Strengthen the muscles in your legs and feet.

How to Prevent Pronation (Walking on the Inside of Your Foot)

  1. Use medial heel wedges.
  2. Wear maximum support running shoes (Firm midsoles provide arch support for flatter feet).
  3. Strengthen your mid and upper legs.
  4. Stretch out tight leg muscles.
  5. Replace your old shoes.
  6. Perform balance training to correct foot alignment.

The Best Shoe Wedge Insoles: 5 Features That Will Make Your Life Easier

  1. Interchangeable for Medial or Lateral Unloading

Simply interchange the corrective shoe insoles for medial or lateral support, keeping your feet from turning in or out.

  2. Durable & Sweat Resistant

The solid, polyurethane material has been precisely tailored to withstand heat, high stress, and repetitive impact. Plus, they will not absorb sweat or odor, making these silicone-like insoles perfect for walking, running, or standing on your feet for long periods of time.

  3. Extremely Long Lifespan

Reusable and washable, these orthotic heel (cuboid) wedges can last for weeks or months at a time, if cared for properly. If they lose stickiness, clean with warm water and dish soap or use wet wipes to restore the adhesive surface.

  4. Strong, Self-Adhesive Surface for All-Day Support

The strong adhesive surface holds the insoles in place all day while allowing for repositioning, if necessary. The side attached to the white paper contains the strongest adhesive. You can also identify the stickier, adhesive side by its smooth, glass-like appearance. For the best results, we recommend wearing these shoe inserts with a sock and not directly against your skin.

  5. Universal Size

Our orthopedic shoe inserts are universal in design, fitting most adults. At only 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, they are not a full-sized insole and can be easily worn within both dress or athletic shoes. For the best results, we recommend wearing these medial insoles for varus unloading or lateral insoles for valgus unloading with a sock and not directly against your skin

our heel wedge inserts are great for wearing inside different shoes and can be washed with cold water

Game changer

I bought these inserts to go with my Dr. Scholl tennis shoes. And my ankles and knees feel so much better. I can walk around better, the pain is relieved substantially, and my gait has improved. I have to have double knee replacement because I have severe arthritis in both knees. If I had the shoe inserts and shoes two or three years ago, I probably would not need the knee replacement. You really need to advertise the shoe inserts. A lot of people focus on high arches for your feet but those are useless for people who have overpronated feet.

Game changer CORRECTION

Everything is true in the game changer rating except for I meant to say supination instead of overpronation. The bottom of my fee rollover on the outside under my ankle. And I now give the rating of five because I'm walking around

Insert stick to feet and when taking off shoes, the inter dole is pulled out of the shoe :-(. After one or two uses the wedges themselves tear into pieces, sad user here.

Need advise as to how to use.

Absolutely true game changer!

When I initially looked at these inserts I was skeptical! But omg was I wrong!! These are AMAZING! I have been suffering from supination all my life, and always wore out the outside of my shoes quickly. Lately, however, I have been dealing with Achilles Tendonitis pain sooo intense I could barely walk. out of nowhere too, because I hadn’t hurt it, and there was no sudden change in exercise. I immediately went to my doctor (who was of no help) and told me to ice, wear better shoes, and gave me ibuprofen. I started looking information online to help ease my pain, and tried all kinds of heel inserts and nothing was working! Finally I came upon an article that mentioned supination could cause Achilles pain, and mentioned lateral wedges as a correction option. So I gave these a try! And I’m not exaggerating when I say, I had instant relief when I used these wedges. It was amazing! I have bought 4 more pairs to place in most of my shoes. So if your skeptical, give these a try! I’m thankful I found these wedges!! They are so easy to use, and you comfortable. Since I put on the first pair in the beginning of October the adhesive has lasted and I’m yet to wash them to return the adhesive! Hope this helps anyone out there unsure of buying!!
